The issue of respecting the interests of employers in education legislation was discussed during the meeting.
Liliya Hrynevych noted that as a Chairperson of the Committee on Science and Education she is striving to do everything possible for broad expert and public discussion in regard to adoption of such an important decision as a further development of higher education in Ukraine and, as a consequence, development of the whole country to take place.
"All the stakeholders and employers should participate in the discussion. Involvement of representatives of employers' organizations and associations into educational processes should become a legal and social norm, and should be conducted in three stages: first – during preparation of lists of specialities, educational and professional standards, the second – during organization of practical training, the third – during learning outcomes assessment, particularly through external evaluation of qualification level," said L.Hrynevych.
Representatives of the European Business Association expressed their support of the abovementioned initiatives and formulated their proposals in regard to respecting the interests of employers in education legislation.
Representatives of leading European companies like Epam Systems, International Institute of Business, MBA (ACCA), Monvair LLC, Raiffeisen Bank Aval, Softserve,Telesens Uk. participated in the meeting.
